Oil Shortage Phenomenon and Replacement of Vacuum Oil Filter Oil Products
1. Check oil
The oil level of the pump in operation must be located in the middle of the oil level glass window (6/4). If necessary, stop the pump and refuel according to the correct amount of oil. Excessive oil filling causes oil loss at high suction pressure.
High fuel consumption generally indicates that the exhaust filter is blocked.
When filling oil into the pump, the pump must be stopped.
Check oil level at least once a day.
2. Oil state
Generally speaking, oil is clear and transparent. If the oil is dark, it should be replaced.
If gases or liquids are dissolved in the oil, the limit pressure will deteriorate. Closing the inlet and opening the ballast valve to make the pump run for about 30 minutes can degasse the oil.
When the pump is still at working temperature after stopping, some oil is discharged into beakers or similar containers through the discharging screw (6/5), which can be used to check the state of oil.
warning
According to the process involved, hazardous substances can spill over from pumps and oils. Corresponding safety measures should be taken.
Comply with safety regulations.
3. Change oil, change oil filter
Tools used:
Oil filter wrench (710 73 532)
Always change oil when the pump is still at working temperature after shutdown.
If the oil is in danger of polymerization of process gases in contact with it, the oil should be changed immediately after the pump is running.
warning
Pumps are hot in operation. Some surfaces can be as high as 80 (176).
There is a risk of scald if touched.
Turn off the drain plug (6/5) and let the used oil drain into the proper container.
warning
According to the process involved, hazardous substances can spill out of the pump or pump oil. Corresponding measures should be taken.
Comply with safety regulations.
Important Notes
When handling used oil, please observe the relevant environmental regulations!
When discharging oil, when the flow of oil decreases, screw the discharging screw on, start the pump for a short time (up to 10 seconds), and then stop the pump. Then screw down the oil drain plug to drain the remaining oil.
Remove the oil filter (6/25), take a new oil filter, soak it with oil, and screw it on by hand.
Re-install the drain plug (check the "O" ring and replace it with a new one if necessary).
Remove the filling screw plug (6/6) and inject new oil into the lower edge of the oil level window, so that the pump can run for a short time, so as to flush the pump with the filling new oil. Then let the oil go.
Use only the appropriate oil (see Section 1.8).
warning
According to the process involved, hazardous substances can spill over from pumps and oils. Corresponding measures should be taken. Comply with safety regulations.
Watch out
Do not install used seals; be sure to install new seals.
Important Notes
When handling used oil, please observe the relevant environmental regulations!
